The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives – People’s Republic of China (2025). The Embassy of Canada to China.
• All projects must align with at least 1 of the following CFLI thematic priorities: 1) Inclusive governance, including diversity and 2SLGBTQI+, democracy, human rights and the rule of law. 2) Gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls. 3) Human dignity, covering health, education and nutrition. 4) Environment and climate action focusing on adaptation and mitigation, as well as on water management.

• The average CFLI contribution is $10,000 to $40,000 Canadian Dollars. (CAD$100,000 is the maximum allocation amount for a project eligible under CFLI).

Gender Just Climate Solutions Awards 10th Edition. WECF.
• 3 Winners; one from each category: 1) Technical Climate Solutions: Gender-responsive innovations in areas such as water, renewable energy, food production, digitalisation, and waste reduction. 2) Non-Technical Climate Solutions: Efforts that promote behavioural change, mutual learning, and capacity-building from a gender-responsive perspective. 3) Transformative Climate Initiatives: These projects focus on governance, institutional reform, or social change that challenges patriarchal structures and norms.
